2 Samuel 6:14

Some images of the music and dance ministry that takes place in our fellowship. Included are the front covers to our cds,
"The Hour Of Incense" and "The Macedonian Call/All My Hope Is In You"

Psalm 150:
1 Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!
2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!
3 Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp!
4 Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe!
5 Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!

Cry Out America

This past Thursday Sept 11, 12:oo p.m. we held a prayer gathering at the San Juan County administration building. Cry Out America is part of a nationwide call to repentance and prayer.
These are some photos I took there. I plan to put up some pictures of the local pastors who participated in my next post. There were aprroximately 100+ folks who attended, representing some 18 fellowships.
At right: The event began with the sounding of theshofar to the four directions.

The Presidential proclamation is read

The children's choir sang.

Memorial Day Cleanup

On the Sunday evening before Memorial Day some of the churches got together and helped clean up the veterans section of the Shiprock cemetary.

This was done in preparation for the memorial service to be held on the following morning.

It ministered to me as I read the names on the tombstones. Most of the families that have loved ones buried here take very good care of the graves. In fact there are some ornate and awesome displays presented at the gravesites.

What is sad is to see some of the plots which have obviously fallen out of care.

May God bless the families and friends of these who gave the most that could be given.

Here are some more photos from 2007 events and outreach.

Here is Isabel Yazzie grilling tortillas at our church picnic. She has been a believer since 1960!!

Navajo tortillas are thicker and smaller in diameter than those of mexican style. The custom is to grill them. There's nothing like it!

The above photo was taken at Boyd Park in Farmington,N.M.
Our pastor Eric Lee in the white shirt and Roland Deale, one of our board members are praying with one of the many who are lving on the highways and byways of the area.

Pastor Lee (photo below left) also spoke at the event, encouraging the church to get out of it's four walls and begin to minister to the nations.

The photo below was taken at the food outreach in Nizhoni Park in Shiprock. Regina and Cheryl are single moms who struggle to keep their families on the right track. They also are part of the dance ministry in our church.

The photo on the right is Betty, wife of pastor
Paul Toadechenie from Tees Nos Pos.This was taken at our
Christmas Day outreach in Shiprock, She is making frybread for the dinner.
The creation of good frybread requires knowledge and skill. It truly is an artform. Frybread can become an addiction.
I will have some new photos, taken in the past few months,
posted here in a day or two.
