James 1:22-27

This blog will, through the medium of photography, put a face to those whom we serve on the the Navajo Nation and throughout the Four Corners region. In the first few posts, I will put up photos taken at the various outreaches we either organized, and/or participated in with other fellowships during 2007.

This was taken on Christmas morning in the City Market parking lot in Shiprock, New Mexico. We went out and set up a dining area right off the main road, It was around twenty degrees with winds gusting up to twenty-five niles an hour. Even so, we had many come, as we served food and gave clothing to them all. Our pastor and two of our elders pray over a young man during our outreach in Nizhoni Park in Shiprock, during the October Northern Navajo Nation Fair.

This is Jorie and Christie West a mother/daughter duo known as Sayani (Cherokee). They are wonderful peole and a blessing to be with. This was taken during our July 22 outreach in Nizhoni Park. I believe we served food to about 300 people.

This is young Hannah Deale. She is a beautiful little girl. Her dad is the bass player on our worship team, oversees our men's minstry, and is also a board member.

We see many homeless men like these who live not only in the park area, but under the bridge on US Hwy 64 which is just off the park.

These ladies represent five different churches from the Shiprock/Farmington area.

Another photo from Christmas morning. The elderly women of the Navajo, are respectfully referred to, by everyone, as "grandma". I remember her well, as she was so excited to receive a hot meal and prayer, that she began singing carols non-stop.
Please pray for these and their salvation. Pray all who are called to serve them, both from Native America as well as other areas of the world.
For His Glory Alone,
Chris P.
